Borussia Mönchengladbach and Puma have unveiled the Mönchengladbach 26/27 Away Kit, introducing a black change shirt for the new 2026-27 Bundesliga season.
Borussia Mönchengladbach Kit Design & Inspiration
The new Borussia Mönchengladbach jersey is based on a black body with a simple crew neck collar. Green detailing appears on the side panels, inside the back neck area and around the sleeve cuffs, where it is combined with bronze trim. The colour application references the club’s traditional green, black and white identity, with bronze used for the main visual details.
The Puma logo is placed on the right side of the chest and on the shoulders, with the Borussia Mönchengladbach crest and two championship stars on the left chest. Both the crest and supplier branding are applied in bronze, matching the Reuter shirt sponsor across the front. Sonepar sponsorship is positioned on the sleeve in the same bronze tone.
On the reverse, the shirt features “Mönchengladbach” lettering above the player number, with the name placed below. The back print combines bronze numbering with green shadow detailing, while additional green inserts are visible at the sides.
Technical Features
Developed with Puma dryCELL technology to assist with breathability and moisture control, the shirt is produced using 100% recycled material, excluding trims and decorative elements, through Puma’s RE:FIBRE programme, which uses textile waste as part of the production process.
Full Borussia Mönchengladbach Away Kit details
The full Borussia Mönchengladbach 2026/27 away kit is completed with black shorts and matching black socks. The shorts continue the understated look of the shirt, with a green insert placed on the side panel. It is available in men’s, women’s and children’s replica versions, with the women’s shirt also carrying the league title stars above the badge.
