São Paulo state’s Botafogo Futebol Clube - Botafogo de Ribeirão Preto - have unveiled their 2023 third shirt.
The new secondary-change release from Volt Sport nods to the Brazilian side’s 1962 tour from which they established their “Pantera das Américas” (Panther of the Americas) nickname and is primarily coloured in sky blue to reference the hosts of several notable Botafogo-SP victories, Argentina.
The design includes a map of South America - with the Botafogo-SP mascot in the position of Brazil - and the first-choice palette of white, red and black features heavily and ties to the complementing shorts and socks, with a beige goalkeeper shirt in a similar vein.
