Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas and Mizuno have revealed the Botafogo 2026 Third kit, with the design referencing the origins of Botafogo Football Club and the club’s early identity in Rio de Janeiro.
Botafogo Kit Design & Inspiration
The new Botafogo jersey is presented in natural white and features an all-over tonal jacquard pattern across the front, sleeves and back, giving the jersey a raised textured finish. The graphic incorporates ornate detailing inspired by the traditional Botafogo monogram created by Basílio Vianna Júnior in 1904, connecting the design to the club’s foundation period and its roots in Largo dos Leões.
Black detailing is used for the Mizuno logo on the right chest, the interlocking Botafogo monogram on the left chest and the main Vbet shirt sponsor across the centre. The shirt has a simple round collar with black rear trim, matched by black sleeve cuff edging for contrast against the white base.
A small crest detail appears below the rear collar, while a commemorative “1904” label near the lower hem references Botafogo Football Club’s foundation and early club symbols.

The new Botafogo football shirt will be worn with matching white shorts and socks during the 2026 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A season.
