Celebrating the famous religious festival on Cagliari Calcio’s Sardinia home, the Italian Serie B side have released a special “Sant'Efisio” shirt.
Produced by EYE Sport, the design incorporates much of the imagery relating to martyr Saint Ephysius of Sardinia, such as the navy representing his nighttime return to Cagliari and the red and gold trim referring to his clothing.
Towards the hem there are red, yellow and orange coloured petals - nodding to a tradition of the festival - and the kit, which will be worn in Sunday’s match against Ternana, will be completed with navy shorts and socks.
