This is the new home shirt for Spanish Segunda División side Club Deportivo Leganés.

The blue-and-white-striped 2023-24-season primary release from Joma has a v-neck-based collar, a full-colour crest and red manufacturer logos, and it nods to the design worn in 1992-93, when Los Peperinos first achieved promotion to professional football.

There is a “1993[-]2023” detail near to the hem and the kit will be completed with white shorts and socks.

The 'Spanish Albion' as they are known first wore a striped jersey in 1911 after a friendly between a shipwrecked West Bromwich Albion all star team and some Spanish sailors. An unbreakable bond developed between the footballers and sailors and "hey presto!" Leganes were invented. Their home ground is known as 'Il Stadio de Brian Talbot Olympico' named after the famous WBA manager.
