Charleston Battery have released their 2026 hummel Third Kit, introduced as the ’96 Anniversary shirt, commemorating 30 years since the club’s 1996 USISL Pro League title.
Kit Design & Inspiration
The new Charleston Battery jersey draws directly from the strip worn during the title-winning match at Stoney Field. The shirt features vertical black and red stripes across the body, combined with a white gradient fade through the centre that extends across the front, back and sleeves. A classic polo collar with button fastening is included, finished with contrast tipping.
On the chest, the hummel logo sits opposite the club badge, while the “Holy City FC” shirt sponsor is integrated alongside a skyline graphic. The back of the shirt uses a black name and number set, maintaining consistency with the historic reference.
Additional detailing appears at the lower hem, where a commemorative star and “30th Anniversary 1996 USISL Pro Champions” marking are applied. A gold goalkeeper kit is also released as part of the anniversary set, referencing the colour worn during the 1996 final.

Constructed using Hummel Pro Honeycomb fabric, the new Charleston Battery football shirt is paired with black shorts and white socks to complete the full ’96 Anniversary kit for the 2026 USL Championship season.
