Chelsea 2023-24 Nike Third Kit

Chelsea 2023-24 Nike Third Kit

This is Chelsea's new Third kit for the 23/24 season.

The predominant mint foam colour seen on the shirt, shorts, and socks draws inspiration from two distinct eras in the club's history.

Firstly, it pays homage to the Eton Blue, which was worn by Chelsea's very first players. This colour choice dates back to the early years and was inspired by the racing colours of the club president.

It's a lighter shade than the more familiar blues that Chelsea is known for, and although it was only used for two seasons (1905-07), that iconic look is still cherished.

In crafting the third kit for this season, they've also taken inspiration from the 'jade' hue from the away kit of 1986/87.

This looks appalling. Woeful colour on which it's hard to see players'
names?

Having only spent 600 quid this summer on the other 4 kits, 2 prematch training shirts, official WAG date night shirt, and the goalkeeper UEFA night away shirt, 100 quid has been burning a hole in my pocket "waiting" for this baby! Whoa! It's beauty! Cannot wait to see what the Dennis Wise Christmas edition shirt will look like, or the Gianfranco Zola Fulham away special edition shirt - rumor is it evokes Italy! Y'know, people judge fanhood if you don't have all thw shirts!

Just another blatant money grabbing effort, after producing an away shirt that isn't an away shirt and probably never worn forcing fans to get this dog vomit coloured piece of crap. Shame on Chelsea

Don't be so cynical! It's clearly a contingency plan in case all of Chelsea's other shirts clash with another team! Imagine! League cup, 5th round, all shirts clash for the match against Bristol Rovers and, Wesley Fofana, passes to a Rovers player by accident, causing the upset! Thanks Nike for avoiding this calamity!

Design a Chelsea kit. It can be any colour, as long as it's blue.

The colour is smart but the design undervalues it because it's just too ordinary.

Well they'll probably end up wearing this kit more than the second kit, that's if the match officials actually do their job and think about the paying public
