Chelsea Football Club have released a special 2026 Year of the Horse pre-match top, worn by the players during warm ups around Lunar New Year fixtures and made available to supporters in limited quantities.
The Chelsea jersey is produced by Nike and features a white base with a large scale wraparound graphic that extends across the front, sides and back. The artwork depicts a stylised lion and horse rendered in a traditional Chinese illustration style, referencing the Year of the Horse within the Chinese zodiac. Flowing cloud motifs are integrated throughout the graphic, creating continuity across the garment.
Nike branding appears on the chest alongside a raised Chelsea crest, while BingX sponsorship is applied centrally on the men’s edition. A red Chinese seal style character is positioned at the back of the neck, displaying the Mandarin character used by fans when referring to Chelsea. The reverse of the shirt continues the graphic uninterrupted.
The colour palette references early Chelsea colours, with a pale Eton blue tone used throughout the graphic, paired with white fabric and black detailing. The shirt is constructed using lightweight performance material with perforated panels to aid breathability during warm up sessions. A slim fit profile is used, consistent with modern Nike pre-match apparel.
