Chelsea 2026-27 Away Kit by Nike Revealed

Chelsea 26/27 Nike Away Kit

Chelsea Football Club and Nike have unveiled the Chelsea 26/27 Away kit for the 2026-27 Premier League season.

Chelsea Kit Design & Inspiration

Taking inspiration from the club’s transformation during the 1990s and its connections with Italian football, the new Chelsea jersey has a black base with Midwest Gold detailing. A tonal ribbed pattern runs vertically through the fabric, with engineered ventilation sections incorporated into the construction. Gold piping follows the shoulder seams and continues down the sides of the jersey.

A black V-neck is bordered by a gold laurel wreath graphic, with the same pattern repeated around the sleeve cuffs. This motif is also used on Chelsea’s 2026-27 Home kit, connecting the two releases. A gold Nike Swoosh appears on the right chest, opposite a simplified gold Chelsea lion crest.

Additional details include a yellow tab carrying “CFC” at the back of the collar and an Engineered authenticity label near the lower front hem. The rear remains predominantly black, with gold piping outlining the shoulder panels.

Technical Features

The Match version is constructed using Nike Aero-FIT technology, which Chelsea FC are using across their kits for the first time during the 2026-27 season. Designed to improve airflow and cooling, the material is manufactured entirely from textile waste as part of Nike’s sustainability programme. Textured ventilation zones and engineered knit structures are integrated throughout the garment to support player performance.

The Stadium version uses Nike Dri-FIT technology to support moisture control and comfort.

Full Chelsea Away Kit details

Black shorts accompany the new Chelsea football shirt, featuring gold side panels, a gold Chelsea crest and matching Nike branding. Black or Yellow socks complete the full Chelsea Away kit, with a black laurel-patterned band around the upper section and a black Nike Swoosh on the shin.

I'd take that World Champions badge off now, it's embarrassing. Poor shirt too.
