Chelsea 2026-27 Home Kit by Nike Revealed

Chelsea 26/27 Nike Home Kit

Chelsea FC and Nike have unveiled the Chelsea 26/27 Home Kit, which will be worn during the 2026-27 Premier League season.

Chelsea Kit Design & Inspiration

Celebrating 75 years since Ted Drake transformed the club’s identity by introducing the Blues nickname and the now-famous lion emblem, the new Chelsea jersey is presented in the club’s traditional royal blue and features a tonal all-over jacquard design. At the centre of the pattern is an oversized Chelsea crest woven into the fabric.

A fold-over polo collar and single-button placket provide the neckline, while yellow accents appear on the Nike Swoosh, club crest, shoulder seams and side panels.

The lion symbol, which became synonymous with Chelsea during Drake’s tenure, is referenced throughout the design. The club crest is rendered in yellow on the left chest, while the tonal woven graphic incorporates the lion and Chelsea Football Club wording within the fabric structure. Inside the collar, the word “Chelsea” appears in yellow beneath a matching neck tape detail.

Technical Features

The Aero-FIT Match version is constructed using Nike Aero-FIT technology, making it the first Chelsea kit to feature the performance fabric system. Designed to improve airflow and cooling, the material is manufactured entirely from textile waste as part of Nike’s sustainability programme. Textured ventilation zones and engineered knit structures are integrated throughout the garment to support player performance.

The Stadium version uses Nike Dri-FIT technology to support moisture control and comfort.

Full Chelsea Home Kit details

The new Chelsea football shirt is completed with matching blue shorts and white socks, forming the full home kit. The socks feature a laurel wreath graphic, reflecting the circular motif incorporated into the shirt’s crest-inspired design.

At first I thought, "simple but has a modern edge to it, not bad." Then I saw the crest covering the whole body and realised this is absolute bin material. Ruined what could have been a pretty decent kit.

What a shame; Nike really needs to step it up.

Kinda basic, but much better than the monstrosities they have received from Nike in recent years.

I don't mind it in fairness, looks a lot better without that badge in the middle.

Doesn't really look like a football shirt...more like a casual top or something.

It just is t a Chelsea shirt. It’s bland and the silly FIFA badge in the middle smacks of desperation to be relevant when at present they’re a bit of a laughing stock. New owners throwing cash around and looking silly.
