Chelsea Football Club and Nike have unveiled the Chelsea 26/27 Third kit for the 2026-27 Premier League season.
Chelsea Kit Design & Inspiration
With the design referencing the club’s 1993 away strip, the new Chelsea jersey is presented in White, Rush Blue and Global Red, using a predominantly white base with narrow red vertical pinstripes running across the front and back. A tonal geometric pattern is integrated into the fabric, adding further detailing throughout the body and sleeves.
Rush Blue is used for the V-shaped round neckline and sleeve cuffs, with the retro Chelsea crest presented in a shield format on the left chest. Opposite, the Nike Swoosh is blue with a red outline.
The match version features USDC by Circle as the front-of-shirt sponsor, with the FIFA World Champions badge positioned centrally between the Nike branding and Chelsea crest. Player names and numbers are applied in blue on the reverse.
The kit takes further cues from away and third shirts worn by the club during the 1980s and 1990s, forming part of Nike’s “The Rare Breed” theme for the release.
Technical Features
The Match version is constructed using Nike Aero-FIT technology, which Chelsea FC are using across their kits for the first time during the 2026-27 season. Designed to improve airflow and cooling, the material is manufactured entirely from textile waste as part of Nike’s sustainability programme. Textured ventilation zones and engineered knit structures are integrated throughout the garment to support player performance.
The Stadium version uses Nike Dri-FIT technology to support moisture control and comfort.
Full Chelsea 3rd Kit details
Paired with the new Chelsea football shirt are white shorts with blue side detailing, along with white socks featuring a series of Rush Blue horizontal bands around the calf, a black Nike Swoosh and Chelsea lettering on the shin.
