C.D. Guadalajara, also known as Chivas, have released a special 2026 Puma football shirt celebrating the club’s 120th anniversary, referencing their foundation on 8 May 1906 as Unión Football Club by Belgian immigrant Edgar Everaert.
The new Chivas 120th Anniversary jersey uses the club’s traditional red and white vertical stripes, applied across a long-sleeve construction. The shirt features a short buttoned placket at the collar, with navy trim around the inside back neck and small navy Puma logos on the shoulders. The Puma logo is placed centrally on the chest in navy, above a large heritage-style Chivas monogram graphic.
Gold anniversary detailing appears on the sleeves, with “1906” printed on one cuff and “2026” on the other. A commemorative 120th anniversary badge is positioned on the upper back, using a metallic gold finish with “120 Aniversario” text and the 1906-2026 dates. Inside the neck, “Rebaño Sagrado” appears as an additional detail, translating to “Sacred Herd”, one of Chivas’ long-standing nicknames.
The shirt is made with Puma’s DryCELL performance fabric and includes a subtle tonal pattern within the white sections. The lower front features the official product label and authenticity detailing.
The release is presented with special anniversary packaging, including a red striped box with Chivas and Puma branding, along with a commemorative pennant carrying the date “8 de mayo de 1906”.
