Colorado Rapids have launched the 2025 “Original Green” kit, produced by adidas as part of the Archive Collection.
The Third shirt pays tribute to the club’s origins as one of the founding teams of Major League Soccer, returning to the colour scheme last worn in 2002.
The jersey features a noble green base with off-white adidas shoulder stripes and detailing. A reworked version of the club’s original crest is positioned on the left chest, while the centre of the shirt carries the retro Colorado Rapids logo from the 1996 season. Gold and blue accents complete the colour palette, mirroring the earliest club designs.
A silhouette of Marcelo Balboa’s famous bicycle kick, along with the number 96, appears above the hem. On the back, UCHealth branding is placed in white below the number zone, and Kiewit features on the right sleeve. The neck carries a Rapids-coloured reinterpretation of the original MLS crest, with mountain detail lining the sleeve cuffs.
The shirt includes a fold-over collar and mesh side panels, and is paired with matching green shorts and white socks to complete the full kit.
