Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, of Brazil’s Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, have unveiled their 2023-24 third - “III” - shirt.
Celebrating the 40th anniversary - approaching in April 2024 - of the “Diretas Já” occupation of the Vale do Anhangabaú area of São Paulo in 1984, where the colour yellow was prominent amongst those protesting against the military dictatorship, including Corinthians players, artists and journalists, the shirt fill is a nod to that event.
Trim and detailing are in black and there are barely noticeable flecks of red on a shirt that forms a kit with matching yellow shorts and socks.
