Coritiba have unveiled their new 2024 third football shirt from Diadora, commemorating the club’s 115th anniversary.
This kit pays homage to Hans Egon Breyer, a German defender who played for Coritiba in the 1940s. According to the club, the term "coxa-branca" originated from Breyer, as it was initially used as an insult by rival Athletico fans but was later embraced by Coritiba supporters.
Developed by Italian sportswear brand Diadora, the players’ shirt comes in a deep green shade, “Verde Coritiba,” exclusive to the club. It features horizontal stripes made from a blend of classic and modern typography, displaying phrases such as “Born to be Coxa,” “Breyer,” and “Coritiba, 115 years.” A commemorative patch also marks the occasion.

The special edition goalkeeper’s shirt is primarily black, with a white collar and sleeve cuffs. Both shirts utilise Dry Squadra fabric for quick drying and improved performance, and feature a modern TPU crest on the chest.
