Cork City 2022 Adidas Away Kit

This is the new Cork City Away shirt by adidas.

The 2022 primary change design for the League of Ireland First Division side is entirely monochrome, with white embellishment to a black base.

Devoid even of adidas branding beyond the chest logo, the neat V-neck contrasts and the crests - that of the club as well as that of main sponsor University College Cork - appear in black and white.

The remainder of the printing dedicated to UCC is also in white and the kit, as the side attempt to return to Ireland’s top flight, will be completed with shorts and socks which complement the look of the shirt.

That sponsor logo is a shocker. All credit for them to using a local establishment in UCC, but it looks more like a letterhead rather than something suitable as a sponsor.

Take the English and Irish lettering away, move them to the base of the shirt at the back, and re-centre the logo on the front. It would make it look cleaner and more professional, instead of the Sunday league standard it currently is.

I never usually do so but i'm thinking of refering to Adidas kits as Adi-dire instead because that is what they have become.
Bland and ordinary.
