This is the new Club de Futbol Cruz Azul “Special Edition” shirt.
The Joma release boasts a green-blue gradated effect with the colouring intended as a show of national pride and support - the blue denoting Mexican identity and passion while the green represents unity and illusion.
The crest is centrally placed and rendered in full colour and partner logos appear in white (with the famous red and blue also included on the affiliated central branding).

Patterning on the shirt also nods to Mexico - as the national side prepares to face all comers at the Qatar 2022 World Cup later in the year - and there is a tricolor flag detail just below the neck on the reverse.
The design will be combined with complementing shorts and socks in the match against Club León this Friday.
