Cruzeiro have revealed a special goalkeeper shirt for 2025, titled Camisa de Gigantes. The release pays tribute to the club’s long line of legendary goalkeepers who made history wearing the celeste shirt, celebrating their dedication and impact across generations.
The adidas jersey is predominantly Halo Silver with a subtle gradient that darkens towards the lower section. Royal Blue details appear on the cuffs, collar and Three Stripes, with the adidas logo and the club crest applied in a textured blue finish. The badge is centrally placed on the chest, and a special Camisa de Gigantes patch is added near the hem.
Design elements reference goalkeeping tradition, including a faint diamond graphic at the hem symbolising the netting of the goal. The concept was developed with input from goalkeeper Cássio, alongside adidas and Cruzeiro’s marketing team, using research drawn from 136 historic goalkeeper kits. These studies examined colours, collar styles, graphics and crest placements across decades of Cruzeiro’s history.
The colour silver was chosen to reflect a shade worn by some of the club’s most iconic keepers, including Geraldo II, Dida, Gomes and Fábio. While yellow and light blue were also influential throughout the years, silver stood out as a defining tone in Cruzeiro’s heritage.
The Camisa de Gigantes jersey will be worn by Cruzeiro’s goalkeepers throughout 2025, with matching Royal Blue shorts and socks completing the set.
