Crystal Palace 2022-23 Macron Away Kit

Crystal Palace have revealed their new 22/23 Away kit which features the club’s 1861 crest, new sponsors Cinch and Technical Partner Macron.

The new white kit incorporates the club’s famous red and blue colours in an eye-catching central strip on the front of the shirt creating the effect of a painted canvas.

The sleeves are embossed with the eagle from the club's crest while the Macron Hero logo appears in a silicone print in CPFC Blue on the right of the chest. The Crystal Palace badge takes its rightful place over the heart in a suede based, silicone patch application.

Another interesting detail is the text 'EAGLES' printed on the rear half-moon of the shirt as well as the rib-knit collar and sleeves incorporating a dual pinstripe in the club's red and blue. Finally, CPFC appears alongside the new crest on the customised inner backneck.

I like it. I think with blue shorts and blue socks it would look great. I actually think on this occasion that the pencil/marker pen stripes work.

I’ve always liked this kit, as it was last used in 72/73 I thought it might be brought back as a first but at least it is being resurrected. Don’t normally like these crayon type effects but it seems to work with this one. Well done.

Do you get some felt tips with the shirt to finish it off?

Always think that a good kit, like a good flag, should be easy for a kid to draw and this definitely meets that criteria

I’m sorry, but when are Crystal Palace going to stop perpetrating this lie.

I write football history articles and have never meet any other football archivist that agree with this idea that the modern Crystal Palace are connected to the original Crystal Palace.

Even the most well versed Crystal Palace supporting historian says it’s a lie: https://www.holmesdale.net/page.php?id=82&story=7860&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook&fbclid=IwAR1AaCklmv_mucsg19IKeEfPIi4isXzypRFNYFw3WAx5exqIcOrVxHNkmyE&fs=e&s=cl

All I can think is that for some reason, the football club are insecure about their own identity. You can see this with all the ‘South London is Ours’ propaganda - even though Croydon was part of Surrey until 1965 and is only considered a Greater London borough now.

Plus, the fact that it was local rivals Millwall who played a historic role in pioneering professional football in London and the south a couple of decades before this current Crystal Palace come into existence (as a way to make money for a landlord).

Whatever the reason, the club really do need to take responsibility and stop spreading ‘fake news’, let alone try and profit from it!

@Matt Matt you're talking rubbish. Both clubs are linked to the same cricket club and to The Crystal Palace company. They stopped playing football to protect the cricket pitch until somebody with money 2 decades later built the club its own ground woth people from The Crystal Palace Company being involved. Stop being salty. No doubt you're a Millwall fan.
