Denmark 2026 Hummel Away Kit

Denmark 2026 Hummel Away Kit

Denmark’s 2026 Away kit has been unveiled by hummel and will be worn by the Denmark national football team across the 2026–2027 international cycle, including potential 2026 FIFA World Cup fixtures.

Design & Inspiration

The new Denmark jersey is predominantly white, detailed with fine red pinstripes running vertically across the body, inspired by the legendary ’86 jersey, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. These lines are intersected by subtle horizontal elements, forming a structured pattern that references the Danish flag across the front of the shirt. The graphic alignment is interrupted at the chest to accommodate the centrally placed Danish Football Association crest and hummel logo, where the cross motif becomes more apparent.

A red crew neck collar is combined with matching sleeve cuffs, providing contrast against the white base. Inside the neckline, the inscription “FOR DANMARK” is featured, while the hummel chevrons appear on the shoulders in solid red. Additional details include a small woven hummel authenticity label positioned near the hem, alongside the standard branding elements.

Technical Features

The fabric features a perforated texture throughout, supporting ventilation and match use. Constructed from breathable fabric, the product allows moisture vapour to escape through the outer layer, helping regulate body temperature and maintain comfort. It is also produced using recycled polyester made from repurposed plastic bottles, forming durable, high-quality fibres.

I like the retro vibe, and the cross idea seems to work from a distance, which is the way most will see the shirts in action.

I see what they were trying to do, but it might have been better to emphasize the cross in some other way instead of outlining it with the pinstripes. I'm not a fan of pinstripes in football shirts anyway.

It's a nice enough kit., but bares no resemblance to 1986 kit whatsoever. What a compete and utter load of nonsense !!!
