Derby County 2022-23 Umbro Home Kit

Derby County have revealed their new Home kit for the 22/23 season.

Breaking with tradition, this season’s home shirt has a bitmap inspired stripe which has been placed asymmetrically to push against conventional.

Featuring black front body graphics in micro eyelet fabric - which helps aid performance by keeping players cool during the toughest of games - and with a dropped back hem with twin needle finish, the interlock fabric sleeves give a close fit.

The shirt also features a stylised V-neckline and rib collar, colour blocked rib cuffs, club back neck sign off, raised rubber stacked diamond and raised rubber club crest to the chest.

The knitted pique shorts come with curved side seam and hem panel, elasticated waistband, internal drawcord for secure fit, stacked raised rubber diamond and a raised rubber club crest.

The knitted black socks, with a white and black hoop at the calf with white stacked diamond and ‘DCFC’ jacquard to the back of the calf, feature cotton footbed, elasticated cuff and instep cool zone technology.

Unusually cheap looking for Umbro - looks like a kids teamwear job

Pretty decent in comparison to some of the kits we’ve been given over the years. We I’ll be purchasing (sponsor depending)

I like this one. It looks to me that the side pattern is actually reminiscent of similar designs like the 1995 Aberdeen home kit for example but reworked and toned down or at least something like it.
I think it works really well and looks great.
