Derby County have unveiled their new Third kit for the 2025/26 season, produced by Puma.
The design incorporates a chequerboard pattern in varying shades of blue, celebrating the ‘Timeless Blue’ element of the club’s identity palette.
Blue has a long history with the Rams, dating back to their first Football League kit in 1888, which featured light blue, chocolate and amber. The colour has appeared in notable campaigns, including both First Division title-winning seasons in the 1970s when navy replaced the traditional black, the club’s centenary away strip, the change kit worn during Arthur Cox’s promotion-winning campaigns in the 1980s, the Auto Windscreens-sponsored shirts of the 1990s, and several more recent designs.
The chequerboard effect is also a nod to the 30th anniversary of the 1995/96 promotion season, when the club’s Ram emblem was framed within a square.
The shirt is detailed with a white Puma logo on the right chest and the club crest in white on the left. Sponsor FanHub appears across the front in white, with “Loyalty Rewarded” beneath. White shoulder panels feature blue Puma logos positioned on the upper sleeves, and the jersey is paired with white shorts with a blue trim and blue socks to complete the look.
