Derby County Football Club have unveiled their Derby County 26/27 Third kit by Puma, completing the club’s matchwear collection for the 2026-27 season.
Derby County Kit Design & Inspiration
The Derby County 26/27 Third shirt uses a dark base with a teal graphic extending across the front, sleeves and side sections. The pattern incorporates repeated outlines and shadowed versions of the club’s 1968-1971 Rams head crest, creating the main visual element of the jersey.
That historic Rams head also returns as the main club badge on the chest, presented in silver alongside the Puma logo and Loaded front sponsor. The rear of the Derby County football shirt is predominantly black, with the graphic continuing across the sleeves and lower side sections.
The kit forms part of the club’s “Written in the Stars” campaign, referencing Derbyshire-born astronomer John Flamsteed, who became the first Astronomer Royal, and the connection between the Ram and the Aries zodiac sign. This theme is continued below the rear collar, where the letters DCFC are positioned to represent stars within the Aries constellation.
Additional detailing includes Puma Football branding inside the collar and the club’s licensing mark near the lower hem.
Technical Features
Constructed from 100% knitted polyester, the shirt incorporates Puma's dryCELL moisture-management technology and lightweight performance fabric.
