England 2022-23 Nike Home Kit

England’s new Home shirt, by Nike, has been revealed.

The use of “Blue Fury” and “Blue Void” on the 2022-23 release - which will be worn at the upcoming Qatar 2022 World Cup - brings to mind the Three Lions’ primary design from Euro 96.

The fill of the gradient embellishment on the shoulders and upper back is echoed in the cuffs and in the inserts at the hem, while the crest is multicoloured and Nike’s Swoosh logo is in the darker of the two blue tones.

To complete the English international side’s kit, the shorts are in blue and the socks white.

Said it before...say it again.....why oh why can't we ever have Adidas? They usually make the best kits almost every time.

There is a part of me that hopes England don't win the world cup, just so this abomination isn't seared into the nation's consciousness, and can be quickly forgotten.

Blue is a tad to light and the gradient just doesn't work.

Horrible shade(s) of blue, should be navy blue. Nike seem clueless, they probably refer to this as a soccer shirt, rather than a football shirt.

Gradients have no place on a football shirt.

Gradients are rarely cool. I see what they are trying to do, a mix of the early 1980s with 1995 coloring. Just feels a bit of a novelty. The England home whites do not need to be overly complicated. Could be worse but could definitely be better
