Foot Ball Club Melgar, of Peru’s Liga 1, have unveiled their 2024 away shirt (“camiseta alterna”), dedicated to the “Día Internacional Contra el Cáncer Infantil” (“International Day Against Childhood Cancer”).
The new secondary-change release for the Arequipa-based side, produced by Walon, sees the white base decorated with largely grey script, which was produced in conjunction with children fighting cancer, while some parts are in the red and black that give Los Rojinegros’ their nickname.
Instead of the famous lyre that is the usual focal point of the FCB Melgar crest, this shirt has a golden ribbon mounted on the shield and the kit will be completed with matching white shorts and socks.
