FC Basel have unveiled their new 2025/26 away kit, which is produced by technical partner Macron and draws inspiration from the Rhine River, a key symbol of Basel’s identity.
The jersey theme, titled 'Converging Currents,' reflects the movement and energy of the river and was created in partnership with the Basel School of Art and Design, with contributions from students Livia Simoni, Vladislav Rüegger, Hasan Rosman, and Connor Muething.
The away shirt features a light purple base, with subtle glossy stripes that mimic the reflective surface of water. Navy accents are found on the collar, sleeve cuffs, and side panels.
It features a modern V-neck collar, finished with red and blue trim that echoes the club’s traditional colours, while the logos are rendered in a silicone material with a subtle speckled texture that adds a contemporary touch. Player names and numbers appear in FCB’s distinctive “1893” typeface, now outlined in shades that coordinate with the shirt’s overall palette, and a Basel baton emblem is placed at the back of the neck as a nod to the club’s heritage.
Constructed from certified recycled PET, the shirt meets Global Recycled Standard criteria in support of Basel’s sustainability goals and is paired with matching purple shorts and socks.
