FC Basel have unveiled their new 25/26 Home kit, produced by Macron, with a design that pays tribute to the Rhine River, an enduring symbol of the city’s identity.
The shirt features vertical stripes in dark red and dark blue, the latter referencing the official club colour described in FCB’s founding statutes from December 1893.
A distinctive detail sees the stripes curve across the chest near the collarbone, suggesting river-like motion. Additional features include bright red and blue outlines, finely textured fabric, red piping, and a Basel baton emblem placed at the back of the neck.
The jersey theme captures the movement and energy of flowing water and was developed in collaboration with the Basel School of Art and Design, featuring work from students Livia Simoni, Vladislav Rüegger, Hasan Rosman, and Connor Muething.
Made from certified recycled PET in accordance with Global Recycled Standard guidelines, the shirt supports the club’s sustainability initiatives and is paired with matching blue shorts and socks featuring dark red accents.
