FC Copenhagen and adidas have released a 150th anniversary jersey to celebrate the 150-year milestone of Kjøbenhavns Boldklub, founded in 1876 and recognised as Denmark’s oldest football club.
FC Copenhagen Kit Design & Inspiration
The new Copenhagen jersey draws directly from KB’s traditional identity, featuring vertical blue and white stripes across the front, back and sleeves. A fold-over white collar with a button placket adds a classic construction, while long sleeves are finished with structured cuffs.
The adidas Trefoil appears in gold on the right chest, balanced by a gold F.C. København crest on the left, both applied to reflect the commemorative nature of the release.
Additional detailing reinforces the heritage focus of this FC Copenhagen 150th anniversary kit. A stitched label near the hem reads “Kjøbenhavns Boldklub 150 års jubilæum 26 April 1876”, referencing the club’s founding date. The overall construction uses modern performance fabric, combining a traditional aesthetic with contemporary manufacturing standards.
This FC Copenhagen special edition jersey honours the legacy of KB, which later became part of F.C. Copenhagen following the 1992 merger with B1903. The shirt maintains a clear link between past and present through its use of historic colours and crest treatment.
