1. FC Magdeburg have unveiled their new 25/26 Third kit, designed by technical partner Hummel.
The kit reflects 60 years of club history, dating back to its formation on 22 December 1965, and pays tribute to SC Aufbau Magdeburg, the club's predecessor.
The shirt features a black and anthracite base with green and red patterned sleeves inspired by the colours of the city of Magdeburg. The sleeve pattern draws from the founding plaque displayed at the AMO Kulturhaus, the original site of the club’s formation. This location also served as the backdrop for the official campaign photography.
A v-shaped black collar finishes the shirt, while white Hummel chevrons and logos of sponsors Humanas and SWM contrast the darker base. Inside the collar, the SC Aufbau crest appears alongside the words "Schlafender Riese", symbolising the connection between the club’s origins and its present-day identity.
The year 1965 is embroidered at the base of the neck on the back of the shirt, which is paired with black shorts and socks to complete the full kit.
