1. FC Nürnberg are celebrating their 125th anniversary in 2025 with a series of kits that highlight different eras of the club. Following the 125th Anniversary Jersey released in May and the Home and Away designs inspired by 1905 and 2007, the new Third shirt continues this theme.
The latest adidas release recalls the styles worn during the 1980s and 1990s and is presented in a Team Collegiate Red tone with subtle vertical striping through the fabric. It features a white V-neck collar and matching shoulder stripes, with Dark Football Gold piping running along the sides and sleeve edges.
The badge displays a special anniversary detail with the years 1900 to 2025 inscribed beneath the club crest. The adidas logo sits opposite, and the sponsor Toolcraft appears across the front. On the right sleeve, HELLMANN is displayed as secondary sponsor branding.
The back of the shirt is plain red aside from printed names and numbers, which are styled with a white block effect. Just below the collar, the inscription “1. Fussball-Club Nürnberg” is printed in gold. This Third kit will debut in the upcoming match against VfL Bochum, a side Nürnberg frequently faced during those decades, adding further context to its introduction.
