Ferencváros TC have revealed a special 125th anniversary retro jersey produced by Macron, created to pay tribute to the club’s first football shirt and to mark the formation of the football department in 1900. The commemorative release brings together key elements from the original kit worn at the start of the twentieth century while using modern materials from the supplier’s current production range.
The long sleeve Ferencváros football shirt displays green and white vertical stripes across the body, sleeves and back, with each panel produced in a textured fabric reminiscent of early football textiles. The collar follows a polo construction with a two button closure, supported by ribbed detailing, matching the style seen in archival references.
An embroidered crest sits on the left chest and reflects the earliest expressions of the Ferencváros club identity. Macron’s branding is positioned on the right shoulder rather than the chest in order to maintain the vintage aesthetic of the shirt.
Designed as a limited edition item, the Ferencváros 125th anniversary Retro Jersey uses a structured knitted base fabric with a subtle grid effect visible within both the green and white stripes, reflecting the material style used throughout Macron’s heritage line. Cuffs and collar are finished in white to complete the period appropriate design.
