Finland 2025-26 Nike Away Kit

Finland 25/26 Nike Away Kit

This is the new Finland national team 2025-26 away shirt, designed by artist Klaus Haapaniemi, who is known for his collaborations with iconic international brands across Europe and especially in Japan.

The deep blue shirt features a large, hand-drawn graphic pattern across the front, created by Haapaniemi and inspired by Finnish folklore, national storytelling, design, and nature.

The shirt features a new Jugend-inspired typeface for player names and numbers, a gold “SUOMI” wordmark on the back of the collar, and is available in both Nike Vaporknit and Dri-FIT versions, each made entirely from recycled polyester.

A key feature is the NFC-enabled crest, which, when scanned by a mobile device, provides direct access to the national team’s online store and additional digital content including a shirt video.

Each shirt comes in a special edition box decorated with Haapaniemi’s artwork and is paired with matching blue shorts and socks to form a full kit.

This is one of those shirts you are going to find in your local Red Cross or second hand corner shop in 10 years from now. Is not bad but also not right for a football shirt. Finland has Marimekko that has been done so great designs and could act a finish fashion ambassador in football if applied to a Nike football shirt.

This is my personal favorite of the two!

In overall great work from the Finnish Association in collaboration with the well known Finnish designer Klaus Haapaniemi. Also the typography is fully handmade by him and works quite well with the designs.

From what I've understood Nike doesn't have a lot to do with these designs. Finland uses their plain white and blue Vapor shirts from the catalogue where the design is sublimated afterwards. That would also explain why these designs differ so much from other Nike shirts and why you don't find anything about these beauties on any Nike channels.
