ACF Fiorentina, of Italy’s Serie A, have revealed their 2022-23 Fourth shirt from Kappa.
Fans and designers from all over the world got involved, sending in over 700 sketches inspired by Florence and the history of the Viola over a fortnight. There were six finalists and the most voted by Fiorentina fans was the shirt created by a Florentine designer, Fabrizio Bartoli.
It is dark grey with full and fading diamond-shaped purple inserts, geometric lines with a ‘90s flavour while also being inspired by the shapes of the club’s new logo.
All partner branding - including the iconic Omini logos from the manufacturer - is in white, while on the reverse of the neck, similarly contrasting, is the legend “PLAY TO BE DIFFERENT”.
