This is German 2. Bundesliga side Fortuna Düsseldorf’s new special-edition “Altstadt” shirt.
The latest 2023-24-season release for “Flingeraner” is in black and grey with a cobblestone effect and celebrates the Altstadt - Old Town - and the neon crests displayed in pubs in that area, with the badge on this release in red and styled similarly.
The shirt, which has a neon-sign-styled “ALTSTADT” on the upper back too, has low-profile partner branding (aside from adidas’s “3-Bar” logo), is being launched as part of the “Fortuna für alle” (Fortuna for all) initiative - with €5 from each sale going to an Altstadt soup kitchen - and the kit will be completed with complementing shorts and socks in the 7th April match against Eintracht Braunschweig.
