Nike has unveiled the France 2025 women’s home shirt, featuring a rich pattern inspired by the artistic technique known as "trompe l’oeil," which creates the illusion of texture.
The design references traditional French tweed while celebrating the creative and cultural influence of iconic French players.
The shirt features a deep navy base interwoven with flecks of red and lighter blue, giving it a textured appearance. A white Claudine-style collar brings in a classic detail, complemented by a tricolour tab on the sleeve that nods to the French flag. Both the team crest and Nike Swoosh appear in salmon pink, standing out against the darker backdrop, while the inside of the collar displays the phrase "Nos différences nous unissent" (Our differences unite us), underscoring the team’s values.
Typeface elements on the kit are influenced by Art Nouveau, a movement rooted in French design history. The shirt is produced using Nike’s Dri-FIT ADV fabric, offering lightweight performance and sweat-wicking comfort. The crest uses Lite Flex technology for enhanced breathability, and sustainable processes were applied during production, including the use of Nike Grind materials and increased fabric efficiency.
This shirt will most likely be paired with white shorts and red socks, and will be worn by the France women’s national team throughout 2025 and 2026.
