Galway United have unveiled their 2025 O'Neills Away kit, celebrating their partnership with the coastal town of Loutraki, Greece.
Known for its ancient healing waters used by Spartan soldiers, Loutraki holds historical significance as the site of temples dedicated to Apollo, God of the Sun and Well-Being, and Hera, Mother of the Gods.
Designed by club designer Morgan O’Brien, the kit showcases Apollo on the front, framed by a Greek ‘Meander’ pattern. This motif, also featured on the shirt cuffs, reflects connections between Greek and Celtic designs.

Irish mythology is honoured on the back of the jersey with Cu Chulainn, the legendary Irish hero, surrounded by a Celtic band. Cu Chulainn, son of the Celtic God Lugh, is celebrated as Ireland’s equivalent of Achilles, embodying strength and invincibility in battle.
