Galway United have revealed their new Away shirt for the 2026 season, produced by O'Neills and created in tribute to Eamonn Chick Deacy. The release forms part of the club’s continued recognition of the former player, whose influence on Galway football remains significant.
The Galway United football shirt is introduced in a light grey and black colour combination, referencing the monochrome photographs through which many younger supporters first encountered Chick Deacy, and features a tonal stripe effect running through the body.
The club crest appears on the left chest in a black and white finish, placed above a printed reproduction of Deacy’s signature. O'Neills branding sits on the right side, and the main sponsor Comer Group Ireland is centred on the front.
Sleeve cuffs and the ribbed collar use black trim with a subtle pattern. Additional detailing includes the AV81 mark on the lower back and a dedicated Eamonn Chick Deacy emblem located near the hem. An authenticity patch is applied to the lower front.
The Galway United jersey uses a lightweight performance material with ventilation holes forming a zigzag pattern throughout the body and sleeves, helping airflow during match play. The back continues the tonal stripe layout and features the O'Neills mark beneath the neckline, while the shirt is paired with matching shorts and socks to form a full kit.
