Galway United have revealed their new Home Shirt for the 2026 season, produced by O'Neills and created as a tribute to Eamonn “Chick” Deacy. The release acknowledges his contribution to both club and city, with references to his playing career integrated into the garment.
The Galway United football shirt uses a maroon base with a tonal vertical stripe effect running across the body and sleeves. A sky blue crew collar sits above an inner neckline featuring a patterned insert. Matching sleeve cuffs use the same colour combination. White shoulder stripes appear on both sleeves, positioned above the O'Neills branding and the woven club crest. Beneath the crest is a printed signature of Eamonn Deacy.
Primary sponsor Comer Group Ireland is centred on the chest, while additional detailing appears across the lower section of the shirt. The front hem carries a round badge depicting Eamonn Deacy with his years of birth and passing. The lower back displays “AV81” in gold, marking his squad number during his time with the club. An authenticity label is placed near the hem.
The back of the shirt continues the tonal stripe pattern uninterrupted, with a small O'Neills mark positioned at the upper neckline. The kit is completed with maroon shorts and socks to form the full match outfit for the 2026 campaign.
