Galway United have revealed their 2026 third kit, produced by O’Neills, as part of the club’s official matchwear range for the 2026 League of Ireland Premier Division.
Kit Design & Inspiration
The new Galway United jersey pays tribute to former assistant manager Ollie Horgan, presented in black, with tonal jacquard patterning across the fabric and vertical Celtic-inspired knot graphics in purple running through the body.
These intertwined motifs reference connection and continuity, while maintaining a consistent visual structure across the jersey, while purple accents extend to the shoulder stripes and trim.
On the chest, the O’Neills logo sits opposite the Galway United crest, with sponsor branding centrally positioned. The name “OLLIE” appears beneath the neckline, integrated into the front layout as a defining identifier. Additional detailing includes a triquetra symbol accompanied by the words “Passion Hard Work Integrity” and “Ollie Horgan”, applied as a secondary graphic element.
The back neck features subtle Salthill colours, referencing Horgan’s roots, with a dedicated hem detail carrying further messaging tied to his legacy.
Technical Features
The overall construction follows O’Neills’ modern performance template, with lightweight polyester fabric, set-in sleeves and a standard athletic fit suitable for match use.
