Genoa CFC have unveiled their new Third kit for 2025/26, with the Kappa release coinciding with the club’s 132nd anniversary and following the Home and Away launches.
The shirt is dark blue and features a short lace up opening at the collar, a subtle textured fabric, a monochrome club crest on the left chest, and the Kappa wordmark with the Omini logo on the right.
A small red cross on white is printed at the back of the neck. The kit is completed with red shorts and blue socks that feature a griffin detail.
The concept references the club anthem “Un Cantico per il Mio Grifone” (A Hymn for My Griffin) by Peo Campodonico and Gian Piero Reverberi, chosen in 1972 through a supporter competition. The lyric “Coi pantaloni rossi e la maglietta blu” (With red shorts and the blue shirt) is reflected in the kit colour choice, sung by supporters at Stadio Luigi Ferraris before kick off.
A new feature is the use of the Kappa Authentic label, the brand’s lifestyle spin off with a strong football heritage and a focus on production standards. This is the first time the Authentic logo has been used on an official team kit while still giving space to the classic Omini.
The campaign photography is by Nicolò Rinaldi with creative and production support from No Panic, and includes players from the men’s and women’s first teams.
