Genoa Cricket and Football Club and Kappa have unveiled the Genoa 26/27 Home kit with the “You’ll Never Run Alone” campaign, celebrating the 35th anniversary of Genoa’s historic 1992 victory at Anfield.
Genoa Kit Design & Inspiration
Drawing on the club’s early-1990s identity and the historic European victory at Anfield 35 years ago, the new Genoa jersey retains the traditional red and dark navy halved layout, with a subtle tonal texture incorporated into the fabric. Bright red returns as a prominent part of the colour scheme following the previous two seasons, accompanied by navy raglan-style shoulder and sleeve sections.
A navy polo collar features jacquard detailing in the club colours, with matching patterned trim applied around the sleeve cuffs. The full Genoa crest also returns to the chest after the stylised Griffin emblem was used on last season’s shirt. White Kappa branding appears on the opposite side and across the sleeves, with the player version carrying the Pulsee Luce e Gas sponsor across the front.
On the upper back, the Italian phrase “Dall’inizio, per sempre”, meaning “From the beginning, forever”, is positioned below the collar. Vintage-style player names and numbers are also available as part of the matchwear collection.
Technical Features
The shirt is produced in recycled technical fabric, with the KOMBAT™ Pro version designed to provide lightweight performance, breathability and freedom of movement. The range also includes KOMBAT™, Extra, women’s and children’s editions.
