When Hannover 96 was founded almost 127 years ago, its colours were black, white, and green. This year, the club's special jersey pays homage to one of these colours, black.
The texture chosen to embellish the front of the jersey is an embossed geometric pattern. The inside tape is fully customised with the motto: YES TO FOOTBALL, NO TO RACISM.
The jersey features the Macron logo, along with the logos of Hannover 96, main sponsor Brainhouse 247, sleeve sponsor Travnik, and the Bundesliga, all in black.

Limited strictly to 1,896 pieces and numbered on the neck label from 1 to 1,896, each piece of the special jersey is unique, and no reordering will take place.
During league play, the special jersey will only be worn in a single match when FC Hansa Rostock visits the Heinz von Heiden Arena on March 12th, where head coach Stefan Leitl's team will be dressed entirely in black.
