This is the new Fußballclub (FC) Hansa Rostock “Plant for Future” shirt by Mizuno.
The special-edition 2023-24 release, to be worn in this weekend’s German 2. Bundesliga game against Schalke 04, is in white and blue and features a depiction of the Baltic Sea’s Bay of Mecklenburg on the local coast of Mecklenburg and Pomerania, including the Nienhagen ghost forest.
A percentage of proceeds from retail sales of the shirt, which will form a kit with complementing shorts and socks, will go towards the “Plant for Future” initiative’s efforts to protect forests and reforest both locally and in the Amazon rainforest, as will proceeds from the auctioning of player shirts.
