This is the new Hawaii 24/25 National Team Away football shirt by Millennium Sportswear, celebrating Hawaii's deep history and cultural heritage.
Drawing inspiration from the historic Coat of Arms adopted by the Hawaiian Legislature in 1845, the yellow design represents the unity and protection provided by the monarchy. The National Team Crest incorporates the royal standards of ancient Hawaiian chiefs—the Pūlo‘ulo‘u, Puela, and Ālia—symbolising the protection and refuge offered by the monarchy.
The Hae Hawai‘i, or Hawaiian Flag, is also featured, with the Union Jack nodding to Hawaii's past as a British Protectorate. The eight stripes on the flag represent the unity of Hawaii's eight principal islands, while the vibrant colours are reminiscent of the traditional feathered cloaks and helmets worn by the chiefs.
The shirt's pattern, called Lapamua, captures the spirit of Nā ‘Ālapa Hawai‘i, embodying the unstoppable energy of a dominant athlete.
