This new Hawaii 24/25 National Team Home Shirt, produced by Millennium Sportswear, pays homage to the rich history and cultural heritage of Hawaii.
The design is inspired by the historic Coat of Arms adopted by the Hawaiian Legislature in 1845, symbolising providence and protection under a unified monarch. The National Team Crest features royal standards of ancient Hawaiian chiefs—the Pūlo‘ulo‘u, Puela, and Ālia—representing the protection and refuge offered by the monarchy.
The Hawaiian Flag, or Hae Hawai‘i, is featured, with the Union Jack acknowledging Hawai‘i's history as a British Protectorate. The eight stripes on the flag symbolise the unity of the eight principal islands under one monarch, while the vibrant colours reflect the traditional feathered cloaks and helmets of the chiefs.
The shirt's pattern, named Lapamua, embodies the spirit of Nā ‘Ālapa Hawai‘i, reflecting the relentless and unstoppable nature of a dominant athlete through its unique design.
