Hertha BSC has launched their second special edition jersey of the season, set to pay tribute to a pivotal decade in their history during the last home game of the season against 1. FC Kaiserslautern on the 11th of May.
The shirt commemorates the era when the team's promotion to the Bundesliga in 1997 laid the groundwork for a legacy that continues to resonate throughout Berlin.
To mark the occasion, both Hertha's Bundesliga squad and their women's team will don special jerseys reminiscent of that period, featuring horizontal dark blue and white stripes with classic scarlet numbering on the back.
Calling all shirt collectors: FootballShirtCollector.com is coming soon! We’re launching a new community site created especially for shirt collectors. It’s a dedicated space to connect with others, create your profile, and join a growing network of fellow football shirt collectors.
What makes these jerseys particularly special is the absence of the main sponsor CrazyBuzzer and sleeve partner CG Elementum, a gesture honouring the 'Berliner Weg' and the memory of the late President Kay Bernstein.
