Hertha BSC have released their 2026 H jersey, a special-edition shirt by Castore added to the club’s 25/26 range and scheduled for use in selected fixtures during the 25/26 2. Bundesliga.
Hertha BSC Kit Design & Inspiration
The “H” references one of the club’s earliest identifiers, used between 1892 and 1923 prior to the introduction of the modern crest, linking the design to Hertha BSC’s early 20th century history, including their 1906 Berlin championship win, widely referenced as the club’s first major honour 120 years ago.
The new Hertha jersey features a half-and-half design, combining a deep blue section with a white panel divided diagonally across the body. This layout continues onto the reverse, maintaining the split colour arrangement. A white fold-over collar is integrated with a subtle V-neck opening, referencing earlier shirt constructions associated with the club.
The Hertha crest is positioned on the left chest within the blue field, presented as a simplified shield featuring the historic “H” emblem. Opposite, the Castore wordmark is applied in a tonal execution, sitting within the textured fabric surface. The main shirt sponsor, CheckCars24, appears centrally across the chest, while Sparda-Bank Berlin branding is placed on the sleeve.
Detailing includes “Die Alte Dame 1892” printed below the rear collar, referencing the club’s identity.
Technical Features
The shirt uses Castore AerTek technology, featuring a lightweight polyester construction with a fine micro-textured surface that supports breathability and moisture management. Ventilation is integrated into the fabric structure, with a quick-drying finish designed for match and training use.
