This is the new Nike Home shirt for the Hong Kong national team.

The 2024 design, in tones of red with black neck, trim and cuffs, features a pattern that nods to the famous yellow crisscross/diagonal grid markings on roads in the special administrative region and to iconic dragon boat racing.

The shirt has a full-colour centralised crest - atop the white Nike “Swoosh” logo - and the kit is completed with black shorts and red socks.

Red in tribute to the people who died in Tienamen square and HK, as well as the people who disappeared, or have been detained and tortured just because they want democracy. Red and black, as in the anarchism flag. Nice one

That's a box junction. A mundane, standard street marking from the UK also found in Hong Kong (and elsewhere). They are paying tribute to the box junction.
