Huddersfield Town 25/26 Castore Home Kit

Huddersfield Town 25/26 Castore Away Kit

Huddersfield Town have revealed their 25/26 home kit by Castore, continuing the club’s tribute to the Thrice Champions era.

The shirt features blue and white stripes with gold detailing, including a woven crest appliqué and embroidered Castore branding on the chest.

Inside the collar, three trophy graphics and gold banding mark the club’s historic First Division titles from 1923/24, 1924/25 and 1925/26, with ‘Thrice Champions’ and three gold stars placed on the back of the neck.

Principal Partner HeyDude’s logo appears on the front, with Core Facilities Management on one sleeve and Utilita on the lower back. The opposite sleeve is reserved for competition branding. The kit includes white shorts with a woven crest appliqué, gold Castore branding and the Tomlinson Construction logo on the back for the first time.

Black socks with a blue and white hoop and ‘Town’ in gold on the shin complete the kit, which fans can personalise with name and number options in gold, along with Sky Bet League One sleeve badges.

This would be an uninspiring but entirely serviceable kit if it weren't for the Hey Dude taking so much of the attention

Gold looks like an afterthought on this, the actual shirt is very plain with no texture

Other than the sponsor, which doesn't look bad, just sounds c**p. That is an almost perfect shirt.

Castore have definitely stretched themselves too far too quickly. Whatever anyone says about them, in the beginning they did make quality kits, well-made, good materials, with simple but distinctive designs. Since they started expanding across the UK and Europe, the quality has dropped and a lot of clubs have terminated their contracts. They should have concentrated on what they did well, and worked with a small group of clubs.

Which clubs have terminated their contracts with Castore? Villa, Newcastle, Wolves, Rangers, Bayer Leverkusen, Sevilla, to name a few. Would have been better to make a small number of bespoke kits well than to sign up clubs all over Europe and lose quality
