Ipswich Town have revealed their 23/24 season's Third kit, drawing inspiration from a popular away shirt worn between 1981 and 1984.
In celebration of the club's 145th anniversary, this Umbro-designed kit pays tribute to the shirt worn by club legends like Paul Mariner, Mick Mills, and John Wark who graced the white shirt with black pinstripes during an era when Ipswich Town excelled in English football.
During the 1981/82 season, the club achieved a remarkable second-place finish while also participating in European competitions. This season's shirt features the retro club crest used until 1995, which is also present on the accompanying black shorts. The ensemble is completed with white socks featuring a black turnover.

To honour the club's anniversary, the shirt's rear includes the number '145' just below the neckline, serving as a fitting reminder of Ipswich Town's rich history.
